Workshop on Air Traffic Management Between Japan and Singapore in Tokyo

 The workshop on Air Traffic Management between Japan and Singapore was held on November 24 in Tokyo with Mr. Kimiharu Banno, Director of Air Navigation Services department, Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) and Mr. Soh Poh Theen, Deputy Director General, Air Navigation Services of Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) in attendance.
 To achieve the common goal of enhancing ATM capabilities, JCAB and CAAS shared information including the future vision such as a Collaborative Actions for Renovation of Air Traffic Systems (CARATS) in Japan and Center of Excellence for ATM (COE) in Singapore and agreed about collaboration in research and development activities to realize ATM modernization initiatives.
  Following ATM workshop, the technical tour was conducted at ENRI and Tokyo International Airport to deepen the understanding of ATM operations and R&D activities.
