Senior Vice Minister, Mr. Nogami received a courtesy visit from His Excellency Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of National Development of Singapore.
On March 17, 2014, Senior Vice Minister, Mr. Nogami received a courtesy visit from His Excellency Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of National Development of Singapore.
During his stay in Japan, Senior Minister Lee participated in on-site tours to urban and underground developments and Shinkansen (high-speed rail) operations.
At their meeting Senior Vice Minister Nogami and Senior Minister Lee recommitted to continuing the 40-year-old close relationship between Japan and Singapore, and agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in various areas such as urban and underground development, aging society policy, high speed rail technology, and productivity enhancement of the construction industry.
