On July 28, 2014, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, Mr. Akihiro Ohta, received a courtesy visit from His Excellency Dr. Hans Carl von Werthern, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Japan.
Mr. Ohta and Dr. Werthern exchanged views on several issues, such as air transport and railways, and confirmed their intention to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
