The 2nd meeting of Japan - EU Railway Industrial Dialogue

The Japanese Government (GOJ) and the European Commission (EC) will hold the 2nd meeting of Japan – EU Railway Industrial Dialogue in Tokyo on Thursday, December 4th, 2014. This dialogue aims to enhance mutual market access opportunities by deepening mutual understanding on the railway markets in Japan and the EU. GOJ and EC organize this dialogue on a regular basis in Japan and the EU.

In this dialogue, major stakeholders including government officials, railway operators, railway suppliers and industrial associations from Japan and the EU will participate to share information and to exchange views on measures for improving market access to both markets, future investment opportunities for the railway industry, and technical regulations and safety standards.
