| Chapter 8 Appropriate Revisions
to the Plan |

Based upon timely reviews of the contents
of this plan, MLIT will make any changes it deems necessary and at
the time a change is to be made will seek the opinions of a broad
range of concerned parties including the heads of concerned designated
public bodies. |

Where it is desired to change this plan,
with the exception of minor changes, MLIT will consult with the Prime
Minister in advance. |

Where it is deemed necessary in making
the changes, MLIT will request that the heads of concerned designated
national and local government bodies, local public authorities and
other concerned parties submit documents, opinion statements and other
required information as well as cooperating as otherwise required. |

Where this plan has been changed, at the
same time as notifying the municipal and prefectural Governors and
the designated public bodies under its control, MLIT will also release
details of the changes to the public. |
