Central Government Building No.2 is the result of an effort to
rebuild the former Building No.2 as a high-spec office building while
improving land use by consolidating building functions in a skyscraper
and combining the building with the Building No.3. The building's
exterior was designed to emphasize a unified wall line and the same
horizontal windows as other buildings in the vicinity. The building
has an open feel to it and the green areas around the building give
a sense of the seasons and contribute to creating an appropriate urban
environment for central government buildings.
