Enforcement
Order of the Building Standard Law
"The Law to amend the Building Standard Law" was issued on 12
June 1998 and became partially effective with regard to Article 1 and 2 on the
same date and on 1 May 1999 respectively.
We have prepared the draft of the revised Enforcement Order with regard
to Article 3 of the Law to amend the Building Standard Law, concerning the
performance based standard.
We are now accepting comments on the draft publicly as follows.

- Period for public comments
The period for public comments is from 15 February to 14 March 2000.
Comments must reach the Ministry of Construction not later than 17:00 on 14
March 2000.

The Ministry of Construction will take into consideration the comments
received to finalize the Cabinet Order. However, we will not be able to answer
