VICS service started along the Tokyo Bay Aqua-line on December 18, 1997.

1.	VICS service has started in simultaneously with the Tokyo Bay Aqua-line service operations VICS center (chaired by Mr. Masao Kamei) started information service at 3 PM on December 18, 1997 simultaneously with the start of service of the Tokyo Bay Aqua-line.
