Public Involvement Road Planning Process at the Conceptual Stage
Implementing Public Involvement System
At each planning stage from the goal selection all the way to the actual project implementation, pertinent information including draft plans, project benefits, and project progress is disclosed to the public, enhancing the transparency of road projects.
To ensure that road users’needs are accurately reflected in road administration, public participation is widely introduced to the road planning and management in accordance with the public involvement system, allowing road administration to be more effective, efficient and transparent.
At the conceptual stage, a participatory road planning process is introduced through interactive communication system with citizens, etc., incorporating involvement of the third party.
