The JCAB has signed a Bilateral Arrangement (Working Arrangement and Technical Arrangement for Design and Products) with the UKCAA. |
The aviation authorities of Japan (JCAB) and the UK (UKCAA) concluded a Working
Arrangement on the Airworthiness of Design and Products in 2019.
On Thursday, 25 July 2024 (UK time), a new Working Arrangement was signed in order
to further expand the scope of cooperation between the JCAB and the UKCAA. In the future,
the scope of cooperation can be gradually expanded by developing Technical Arrangements for
each area.
This arrangement is expected to reduce the burden on the aviation industries of both
countries, promote the free distribution of civil aviation products, and strengthen cooperation
between the UK and Japan regarding aviation safety.
