The Twenty Sixth Meeting of the ICAO Asia/Pacific Air Navigation Planning and Implementation Regional Group (APANPIRG/26) was held in Bangkok, Thailand, 7 to 10 September 2015.

During meeting, Japan presented the working paper regarding Proposal for SWIM workshop in Asia/Pacific region to be planned at April to June 2016 to encourage common understanding to develop regional information sharing environment. SWIM-System Wide Information Management is the essential framework for collaborative decision making among related air navigation stakeholders, where accurate, secure, necessary and timely information will be shared. Japan proposed a skeleton of the SWIM workshop including approach, audience, partnership and scope, and expressed the contribution to SWIM workshop. China, Singapore, Thailand and USA confirmed their support and ICCAIA and IATA also expressed their interest in and support to the workshop.

Japan also provided the information paper regarding Introduction of VoIP to the voice communication system for ATC in Japan and Implementation of simultaneous parallel independent departure procedures for Narita international airport.
