On 29th August 2016, Mr. Keiichi Ishii, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, received a courtesy visit from H.E. U Win Khaing, Union Minister for Construction of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The ministers exchanged views on the efforts of Myanmar's Ministry of Construction under the new administration, and confirmed that cooperation will continue in Myanmar, in areas such as roads, bridges, housing, urban development and other projects, and development of a business environment for Japanese companies.
