On 13th July 2016, Parliamentary Vice-Minister, Mr. Hideki Miyauchi, received a courtesy visit from the Hon. Andrew J. Constance, Minister for Transport and Infrastructure of New South Wales (NSW), Australia. At the meeting, both sides exchanged opinion on the subjects of railway transportation and urban development projects in and around the stations in NSW. In their talks, both sides agreed to continue exchanging opinion on close future cooperation between the Japanese government and NSW government while keeping on building up intimate connections with the private enterprises.
