| On 4 October 2022, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) of the Philippines held a technical and business workshop on road tunnel construction and O&M in Manila, Philippines. During the workshop, a Memorandum of Cooperation for technical and business cooperation on the construction and O&M of new road tunnels was signed. The following day (5 October), the participants also visited the ongoing construction of the Davao Bypass Tunnel in Davao City. |
