MLIT will participate in MIPIM 2017 in Cannes, France from 14 to 17, March with 16 Japanese local government and private companies.
Through the exhibition in the “Japan Pavilion”, we will evoke interest of foreign companies and investors in investing in Japanese cities.

“MIPIM”* is one of the world’s largest conferences for international real estate business held annually since 1990 by Reed MIDEM (France) and expects about 2,300 companies and 26,000 participants to come from all over the world.

2. Purpose
It is important for MLIT to strengthen Japanese cities’ international competitiveness and to promote overseas urban development business by Japanese companies. As a part of efforts for these aims, MLIT will participate in MIPIM 2017 to evoke interest of foreign companies and investors
by advertising Japanese cities’ attractiveness and to provide Japanese companies with opportunities of urban development in foreign countries by introducing Japan’s technologies and experties.
Our exhibition in the “Japan Pavilion” this year features “Investing in Japanese future”, which seeks opportunities of discussion on urban development and real estate investment with foreign investors, developers, architectural design companies and local governments.
