The Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Minister assumes a presenter for the awarding ceremony at the final round of Formula One Japan Grand Prix to be held October 10 (Sunday)!!

 The Tourism Agency has been engaged with the promotion of “sports tourism,” making the best use of Japan’s attractive sports resources as an initiating agent for tourism promotion. In particular, the Formula One Japan Grand Prix to be held at the Suzuka Circuit, drawing attention from all over the world, is an attractive tourism resource that can communicate Japan’s brand power throughout the world.
 In this respect, in order to bolster Formula One as a valuable tourism resource, the Tourism Minister will act as a presenter, the first time over the more than twenty years of the Japan Grand Prix.
1. Date/Venue
 October 10 (Sun), 2010, around 4:30 p.m. *Variable according to the condition of races.
 At Suzuka Circuit, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture

2. Coverage
 Matters innside Suzuka Circuit are subject to its organizers, and inasmuch as the decision of the Minister to ascend to the rostrum as the presenter has an immediate prior timing, there is no opportunity for coverage with respect to this case. We would like to ask for your understanding.
