A certificate of gratitude to Lady Gaga for her comments underlining Japan’s safety and calling for more people to visit Japan!

On June 23 (Thursday), at the press conference for Lady Gaga as part of her participation in Video Music Aid Japan hosted by MTV, she made comments to show the world Japan’s safety and encourage people to visit Japan.
“I believe it’s time to look forward now to the future. It’s so important that we continue to raise money, but it is also important that we remind the world that Japan is now safe and that the doors are wide open for tourists from all over the world to come in and enjoy this beautiful country. I’m going to run around Tokyo and enjoy the beautiful city and kiss all the beautiful little monsters,” was Lady Gaga’s wonderful statement in regards to her beloved Japan.
At the event, the Tourism Agency Commissioner Mizohata was invited on behalf of the government of Government to present Lady Gaga a self-righting Okiagari-koboshi doll as well as a certificate of gratitude for her contributions and consideration toward Japan.
In order to live up to Lady Gaga’s warmhearted spirit, the Tourism Agency will continue to strive to restore Japan’s vitality with tourism as a core industry.
