3 main points of the campaign
■ Having pinpointed the target demographic and markets to be highlighted, we will conduct an integrated promotion of special benefits, events, and tours designed to stimulate the desire to visit Japan.
■ In the Kansai and Tokyo areas, about 10,000 stores will offer special benefits and we will develop a continuous 18-week program of experience activities.
■ We will partner with local travel agencies to market more than 100 original approved  tours.
The Japan Tourism Agency will hold its Meet The New JAPAN Campaign 2013 in the Kansai area from December 1, 2012 to February 28, 2013 and in the Tokyo area from February 1 to March 31. This new campaign is based on the idea that people are sure to find something they like about Japan and discover a new appealing aspect of Japan.

Meet The New JAPAN Campaign 2013 is one of the largest campaigns aimed at foreign visitors to be held in Japan. About 10,000 stores, accommodation facilities, and dining establishments in Kansai and Tokyo will take part, and foreign visitors can take advantage of special offers and opportunities for hands-on experiences simply by showing their passports.
