The sky of Japan, which is the airspace assigned for control, consists of one Flight Information Region(FIR): Fukuoka. This region is controlled by
Air Traffic Management Center (ATMC) , Sapporo, Tokyo, Fukuoka and Naha Area Control Centers (ACC).
ATMC manages the whole Fukuoka FIR. ACCs keep in close contact with concerned airports and adjacent foreign FIRs such as Anchorage, Oakland, Manila,
Taipei, Shanghai, Incheon, Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
