The Council for Promotion of Future Air Traffic Systems (CARATS Promotion Council) (chair: Tetsuo Yai, professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology) is examining ways to build future air traffic systems. From the viewpoint of revitalizing R & D in the field of air transport by industry, academia and government, the Council will provide wake data such as the time and position of regular flights useful for R & D as follows to interested universities and research institutions. To private companies, etc., and actively encourage participation in this initiative.<\/p>\r\n
