Research on the introduction situation of various local public transportation（Report No.153）

Summary

In a local government, it will be required to consider more adequate model of public transport fitting to the local community with existing Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) and community bus ：fixed route mini bus operated by the local government, as well as planning of more efficient implementation in a newly introduced system of local public transport around an area.
In the present research, it was aimed at grasping situation of local public officer’s effort based on existing manuals, guides on local public transport planning and studies about distinct cases. In conclusion, it was found that there were differences of efforts depending measures which adopted to transportation systems of DRT or community bus, or attainment level for their target.
