Deployment of new IT to reduce traffic accidents

Most accidents are attributable to the actions of drivers just before the accident

Analyses of accidents showed that 47% of the causes is "delay in recognition," which accounts, together with "errors in judgement" and "errors in operation," for 75% of all accidents. All these are attributable to the actions of drivers immediately before the accidents. Methods are needed for reducing traffic accidents corresponding to each cause.
