To promote ITS according to the needs of each region, various cross sectional organizations such as the ITS Promotion Councils were formed by related private companies, organizations, experts, and administrative bodies, and are acting in each region. These organizations inform people about ITS, spread ITS, support private companies, communicate and make adjustments with related bodies, train people in regions, and help promote ITS in the regions.
