Monitoring of traffic congestion - deployment of probe cars -

Monitoring traffic congestion

Probe cars, which collects continuous probe data in both time and space, can identify the time, location, and scale of traffic congestion. The system is also useful for precise analyses, such as predicting congestion peaks and duration, by monitoring the time necessary for vehicles to pass through certain districts.
