Concerning Revision of the Regulations for Enforcement of the Construction Industry Law in Regard to Documents Attached to the Work Execution Register
March 30, 2001
1. Contents
According to the Construction Industry Law, master contractors (special construction businesses) are obliged to create a work execution register for large scale construction work of a certain size; this has been established so that master contractors can accurately keep track of the execution work system.
With regard to the February 1998 proposal of the Central Construction Work Committee and enactment of the Law for the Promotion of Proper Tendering and Contracting for Public Works (Act for Promoting Proper Tendering and Contracting for Public Works), which came into effect this year on April 1, in order to ensure even better use of the work execution register, it is also an obligation to state the amounts for secondary and lower subcontracts in the attached papers of work execution registers for public works as regulated by law.
