Hiroshima Port（area:CHUGOKU／HIROSHIMA)
The Hiroshima Port is located on the Seto Inland Sea, which is famous the world over for its beautiful coastlines and islands. The Ujina Foreign Trade Wharf is 280 meters long and 10 meters deep and offers convenient access to many appealing tourist spots, including the Itsukushima Shrine and the Atomic Bomb Dome. Tourist information is provided in foreign languages at the information center next to the wharf, and there is also free wi-fi service available. By popular demand, there are also currency exchange services and shuttle buses. You can also enjoy "kagami-biraki" (opening of a cask of sake at a party or ceremony) and other traditional cultural attractions as part of the hospitality. In 2014, the Itsukaichi Wharf (430-m long and 12-m deep) will be completed, allowing 100,000-ton class passenger ships to make port calls as well.
