Project formulation studies
Project formulation studies are conducted for effective and efficient execution of Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects by Japan and to formulate assistance projects that are actually needed in recipient countries.

1) Objectives
Specialists are dispatched to developing countries to which construction ODA is planned to be provided, and advise and help the governments of the recipient countries to better identify their requests.
2) Effects
Formulation of projects that utilize the technical knowledge of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport
Formulation of effective ODA projects
3) Fields within the scope
Fields contributing to infrastructure improvement, such as urban development, urban transportation systems, sewer systems, rivers, dams, Sabo (sediment control), roads, construction machines, geographic information, and housing, and fields related to these fields and contributing to the restoration and conservation of the environment are within the scope of studies.
