• The company is the world‘s only manufacturer of ceramic duct for underground cable protection. Our duct are frequently adopted for airports, harbors, tunnels, and electric power plants as being suitable for important infrastructural facilities. The company contributes to the realization of a “sustainable future society” because the duct are manufactured from recycled resources and offer an excellent life cycle cost.

Overseas Project Summaries and Evaluation Points

• In the third year after the company established a base in Singapore with an aim of “contributing to the development of global infrastructures”, our ceramic perforated duct(CERA-DUCT) was adopted for installation at Changi International Airport. After that, the advantages of the product were recognized in many countries, leading to the product also being adopted for airports in Bangladesh, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, etc. The product is expected to find its way into other applications, such as harbors, tunnels, and roads, not only airports.
• The ceramic perforated duct, CERA-DUCT, which is “hard, rustproof, and nonflammable”, offers high levels of safety and durability. Because of its excellent compressive strength, it does not require reinforcement with steel-reinforced concrete, etc., thus reducing the construction period considerably. In addition, because of its compact cross section compared to those of other duct materials, the size of the excavation can also be reduced, enabling construction even in limited spaces. It does not degrade over time, is maintenance-free, and is excellent in terms of its life cycle cost.
• Construction sludge is used as one of the raw materials of CERA-DUCT. This and other recycled raw materials, such as industrial waste and ceramic waste earth, together account for 50% of the product. It is an environmentally friendly product that makes excellent use of recycled resources.
