Countries in Asia and the Pacific area (the northwest Pacific and the South China Sea) suffer serious damage by frequent typhoons. the Japan Meteorological Office provides a typhoon warning to countries in Asia-Pacific region to avoid and minimize the damage. However, countries in the region don't have the skills to use the information to make weather forecasts and broadcast an alarm. The support project is to train the representatives of typhoon prediction in the Asia-Pacific region and assist with technical support to prevent and reduce the typhoon damage by responding to the meteorological conditions in each country.
This project is to invite the representatives of typhoon prediction to Japan from developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
