(Status of Foreign Travellers' Visit to Japan)

　 　 The number of foreign visitors to Japan in 1974 amounted to 764 thousand people, down 2.6% from the preceding year. The breakout for the foreign visitors are 53.5% for tourists, 33.1% for business and other guests, and 13.4 for temporary lansing guests. By territory, the foreign visitors are broken down as shown in (Table 4-(2)-1).
