Summary The situation of business environment surrounding bus companies is still severe due to progressing depopulation and it requires even public transportation business to maximize operating revenue and to minimize cost. In the meantime, many bus companies are adopting various measures such as revenue improvement and cost reduction, however, the objective evaluations for those measures are not being carried out at present. Therefore, in order to expedite the objective evaluation on bus service business, in this study, an extraction of the indicators which are important for the evaluation was implemented and also this study clarified the contents of measures and the examination technique to improve the figures measured by indicators. |
