While the arrival of society with low birthrate and an aging population and the depopulation is foreseen, it is expected the decrease in labor force population has a serious influence on the field of land, infrastructure and transport. We therefore focus on the power of a women said to be our country's greatest potential power in 2014 "Japanese Revitalization Strategy" revision and investigate the influence that the corporate governance system, which is accepting a diversity effect and variety through not only the side as simple potential labor force but also the activities of women, gives to the productivity of the company. With the globalization of economy, the companies advocating a diversity management are increasing, however, the industrial fields exist which have slow progress in promoting of the employment of women, particularly the women ratio in the construction field is extremely lower comparing to the other industrial fields, so immediate improvement is required. Therefore we clarified structural problems obstructing women's empowerment promotion and conducted the research study with the purpose of finding the workable prescription in the field of land, infrastructure and transport through making comparative investigation with the other industrial fields, in 2015.
As the result of this research study, it was indicated that promoting women's empowerment increases the productivity of company and is to be desirable effort to lead economic growth. In addition, it was indicated that there is the effort having gap between the endeavor of company and the recognition of employees, and also it was indicated that there are many kinds of efforts left undone and should be focused for the women's empowerment promotion. With the awareness that our country's greatest potential power is the power of women, companies are required to further contribute to the promotion of women's empowerment. Moreover, it was shown many women have intents to continue to work after birth. Thus it is necessary to improve a rate of population growth as well as improve the productivity, in considering the country's growth. Arranging the environment to have a child and bring them up while working is a policy distribution to future generation, and it is the effort to be promoted in government-private sector cooperation.
