2. New toll rates for Metropolitan Expressways of Osaka and Nagoya

Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway, which had been developed since 1960s, connects not only to the surrounding areas but also to Tomei Expressway (bound for Osaka), Tohoku Expressway and other major national expressways to form a wider road network


Toward Centralized Management of Expressway Network in Kinki Region

We are transferring Kyoto Line to the NEXCO West to allow them to manage it along with Daini Keihan Road and Meishin Expressway in a centralized manner.


Consideration of Introduction of New Toll Rates in Chukyo Region

Based on the current and predicted conditions of Chukyo Region, the Chukyo Region Subcommittee of the Arterial Road Committee is discussing toll rates for smart use of expressways in the region.
-Current Tasks-
(i) Appropriate traffic management making good use of Tokai Kanjo, Shin Meishin, and Nagoya Daini Kanjo Expressways that are being developed.
(ii) Dispersion of traffic from/to the center of Nagoya
(iii) Network development to mitigate congestion in Ichinomiya, central Nagoya and other bottlenecks


Expansion of Discount for Large/frequent Users

Eligible users: freight businesses using ETC2.0 (Funded by the 2018 2nd Supplementary Budget the by the end of Mar 2020)
