(ＩＴＦ：International Transport Forum)

The ITF was established to exchange opinionsof transportation policy for rational development and effective use of international inland transit in the European region. The ECMT (European Conference of Ministers of Transport), was organized as a subsidiary organizationof the OECD in 1953 and itwas reorganized into The ITF (International Transport Forum) with experts and economists invited to assist in 2007.

The event,"Heavy Traffic and Alleviation" was held in Sofia, Bulgaria in May, 2007. Thenextforum will be held in Dresden, Germany in May, 2008 and will have "Transportation and Energy" as a theme.
