A Sightseeing Cruise That Skilfully Combines the Scenery of the Dam and Nature

〜Make a splash in an amphibious bus〜

Lake Tsugaru Shirakamiko was created by the Tsugaru dam, and the combination of the Tsugaru Dam and the natural landscape that can be seen from the lake is truly beautiful.
The nearby Nishimeya Village started operation of an amphibious bus in April 2017. The bus has been getting popular, and as of September 2019, it has carried approximately 37,000 passengers.
Splashing into the dam is a highlight of the bus trip. Since fiscal 2019, we have offered the popular Dam Lake Tour Special, which includes a tour of the dam and a ride on the amphibious bus.

● Dates of operation: Second half of April 2020 to Saturday October 31 *start of operation depends on snow melt
● Closed: Every Wednesday

The area around the Tsugaru Dam includes a viewing platform and a dam park for guests to enjoy learning about the dam or simply go for a walk.
Michinoeki Tsugaru Shirakami (Beech Nishimeya Commerce Center), which was renovated in April 2019, now includes new attractions such as a coffee roaster and a winery.
Nearby hot spring facilities include Hotel and Hot Spring Resort Bunano Sato Shirakamikan and Green Park Morino Izumi.
We look forward to welcoming you to World Heritage Site Shirakami Sanchi and Nishimeya Village, the village of water.
