Pon Plaza（the Fukuoka City Sewerage Museum）

〜A hybrid pumping station that combines a pumping facility with a cultural facility〜

Taking advantage of its excellent location Gionmachi, Hakata Ward, the central part of Fukuoka City, this pumping station (a sewerage facility) has become a hybrid facility that uses its upper space (4th floor) to provide a cultural space in the form of a small theater in which concerts and plays are performed.
In addition, the Fukuoka City Sewerage Museum, which is permanently installed on the 2nd floor, is a sewerage public relations facility where you can enjoy learning about the mechanism and role of sewerage, which you cannot usually see. It was reopened as a facility that is easier for citizens to understand in the 3rd year of Reiwa. (Number of visitors per year: Approx. 9,000)
