〜Sapporo Sewerage Science Museum〜

poro Sewerage Science Museum is located within the grounds of the Soseigawa Water Recycling Plaza (sewerage treatment plant) in Kita-ku, Sapporo. Visitors can view displays in the museum as well as sewerage treatment equipment.

The museum’s displays were updated in March 2018, and visitors can learn about sewerage systems by experience such as through the Water Recycling Plaza’s operation simulation and a camera-mounted car for conducting inspections and investigations inside sewer pipes. In addition, visitors can view videos introducing the roles of the people that support our sewerage systems and the inside of real rainwater storage pipes.
