Akashi Kaikyo Bridge

The World’s Longest Suspension Bridge:Ride to the Very Top of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge

〜A 360º panorama from a tower almost 300 m high〜

The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is the world’s longest suspension bridge. (Completed in April 1998)
The staff involved in the construction of this bridge will explain the behind-the-scenes technology and history of the bridge in a way that’s easy to understand.
You’ll gain access to the main tower by walking through the administrative passageway, normally closed to the public.
The tour guides will lead you to a world that’s around 300 meters above the surface of the sea.
From there, you’ll participate in a tour that lets you thrill to the 360º panorama that unfolds before your eyes.
Nowadays, around 10,000 people take part in this tour each year.
Use the information below to apply for participation and for other inquiries. (Participation fees will be required.)
