〜See what the eruptions and debris flow are like〜

This is an exhibit facility where you can learn about the volcanic activity at Sakurajima, as well as debris flow and erosion control projects. This facility is also used as a temporary evacuation facility in case of an emergency.
Note: The facility is unmanned during weekdays, but visitors may tour around freely. Erosion control volunteers are available to give tours on weekends and holidays.

Hours of operation: 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (visitors admitted until 16:30)
Closed during year-end and New Year holidays (December 29–January 3)
Admission: free
