Kamafusa Dam

Supporting the City of Trees, Which is The Largest City in the Tohoku Region

〜Enjoy varying scenery with the changing seasons〜

Kamafusa Dam is located in Kasaki-machi, Miyagi Prefecture, which borders Yamagata Prefecture. About 10,000 visitors come to the dam throughout the year.

Inside the inspection gallery of Kamafusa Dam, visitors can explore and learn about the functions and structure of the dam.
Also, Michinoku Park is located on the dam’s bank, creating a space for relaxation.
In spring, you can see carp streamers, and in summer, you can cool down in the inspection gallery while learning about society, making it an ideal place to visit with your family.
Groups can view the inspection gallery for the dam’s body and interior from Monday to Friday.
