Port of Naha

Gateway to the Okinawan Sea Port of Naha!

〜Hospitality to overseas tourists〜

The number of cruise ships has been increasing in recent years.
At the Port of Naha, many cruise ships take anchor and many overseas tourists visit.

In 2018, the number of cruise ship calls to port reached 243, making it the port with second-largest number in the country, showing how active the Port of Naha is.

The pavement of the wharf where cruise ships anchor has motifs of Shuri brocade and Ryukyu kasuri fabric.
When cruise ships call to port, it showcases traditional arts including eisa dancing, and welcomes visitors with a ceremony.
This moment is when the culture of Okinawa excites many tourists.

In addition, the cruise ships have an overwhelming scale. The tours inside the ships, which are normally difficult to see, are held irregularly for local children and others.
