An Exciting Kansai International Airport Tour Plan:New Kanku Behind-the-Scenes Exploration Tour

Kansai International Airport and airplanes Kansai Official Guide will guide you!

Kansai International Airport is Japan's first full-scale maritime airport, which was constructed about 5 km off the coast of Senshu in the southeastern part of Osaka Bay and opened on September 4, 1994.
The second runway was put into service in August 2007, and it has become an international hub airport that has multiple 4,000m-class runways and can be operated 24 hours a day.

Regular flights are in service to 91 cities in 25 countries and regions around the world and 17 cities in Japan (winter 2019 schedule results), and are used by approximately 30 million passengers annually.

In the "New Kansai Behind-the-Scenes Exploration Course", you will depart from the Kansai Observatory Hall "Sky View" by bus and enter a security area that is normally inaccessible. Visit the behind-the-scenes facilities that support the airport, such as the in-flight meal factory and the large refueling tank. At the drop-off point, you can see the plane up close if the timing is right.
