Gassan Dam is illuminated in conjunction with local events and functions.
Even those who have seen the Gassan Dam many times should have a look at the unusually fantastic illumination. The color of the illumination changes for special events, etc.

Models of Gassan Dam and its surrounds, a mini aquarium containing fish that live downstream, and materials that explain the workings of the dam in a way that is easy to understand, etc. are displayed at the regional disaster prevention center, which is located next to the dam. In addition, we conduct small group tours of the inside of the dam without the need to book. (If you would like to visit us in big groups, we would appreciate it if you would book in advance.)
