To secure the safety of the air traffic coping with the tendency to make airplanes higher in speed and greater in transport capacity as driven by the increasing demand for the air transport in the recent years, such measures are in progress as modernization of air traffic control practice by strengthening the air traffic control information processing system and the facilities for the remote communication with airplanes and improvement of the air traffic control facilities and air safety facilities.
