(Sightseeing Recreation Activities)

　 　 With the increase of people's income in the recent years, expenditures related to leisure activities have been on the increase, though the tendency for restraints is notable of late (Table 4-(1)-1). The volume of sightseeing recreation in 1974 was 423 million person times, marking a sight dip from the preceding year, and the average times per person was about 3.9% times as shown in (Table 4-(1)-2).
