In the bus service, prepaid card to ride for buses have been
introduced for users' convenience, and various measures, including the creation
of exclusive bus lanes, have been taken to improve the running conditions.
Efforts, such as introduction of buses equipped with lift, need to be continued
in cooperation with local authorities concerned with welfare to ensure mobile
means for the aged and handicapped people.
As for taxis, diverse fare rates had been adopted and restrictive operations

Prevention of overloading and overwork operation and other safety measures will be taken, the business foundation will be strengthened, and service will be diversified as steps to modernize the Japanese truck industry.
