The Ministry of Transport is actively promoting international cooperation in a wide variety of ways including financial and technical assistance. Namely, the Ministry of Transport is positively employing measures safety of ferries, to train for PSC (Port State Control) officers in the Asia-Pacific region, and to enforce safe navigation through the Strait of Malacca and Singapore. The Ministry of Transport also practices international cooperation in the fields of science and technology through exchanges of information, experts, and joint study (Fig. 28，Fig. 29，Fig. 30).
