AHS (Advanced Cruise-Assist Highway Systems) for Safe and Comfortable Driving Condition

AHS proving Tests

Proving tests at seven sites on actual roads

Proving tests on actual roads examine the convenience of the systems for drivers and the safety and reliability of the systems, which cannot be tested on test courses or using driving simulators. The proving tests also aim to identify problems for maintaining and operating the systems and implementing the systems for road management. Seven accident black spots where the systems are likely to be effective were selected, and are being used to conduct proving tests of AHS on actual roads.
