SECTION 1. PROMOTING TRAFFIC SAFETY MEASURES
Every year to ensure traffic safety, the basis of transport administration,
the ministry of transport draws up a traffic safety operation plan which it actively
covers all the areas of ground, sea and air.
Efforts will be made to enhance and reinforce automobile safety standards
based on the council for transport technology report submitted in March 1992 concerning
road traffic. Based on the same report, efforts will be made to provide train
operation safety facilities and to ensure the thoroughness of operation management.
As for sea traffic, efforts will be made to maintain Maritime traffic environment,
ensure safe voyages, etc. Efforts will be also made to ensure safe flights for
airplanes. (Table 9)
