Mikawa Port Gamagori（area:CHUBU／AICHI)
The Mikawa Port is located in the middle of Japan and serves as a trading port where finished vehicles and timbers are imported and exported. The Mikawa Port is in Gamagoori City, Aichi Prefecture, surrounded on three sides by mountains and facing the Mikawa Bay with a year-round pleasant climate. The hot spring spots of Miya, Katahara, and Nishiura are scattered throughout the city where numerous tourists visit to enjoy hot springs. Also, there is a resort complex called Laguna Ten Bosch that opened in 2002 for people to enjoy an amusement park and shopping and which hosts 3 million visitors a year. For food, enjoy fresh seafood from the Mikawa Bay with one of the highest catches of clams and greeneyes in the prefecture. Gamagoori is also famous for Gamagori Udon, which won two awards?the top prize at the 3th Nationwide Udon Summit 2013 and Udon Expo 2014.
